Asphalt Paving and Repairs

Our Process:

Area of failed asphalt pavement is machine milled to full depth.  Millings are then disposed of at an approved location or recycled if possible.  If needed, stone may be added to the base. Three inches of hot asphalt Type II base course is then placed in the area to be repaired and rolled to compaction.  Hot liquid asphalt AC-20 tack coat is applied.  Two inches of hot asphalt Type I wearing course is then applied and rolled to compaction.  All repaired patches are machine routed around the perimeter and hot asphaltic crack filler is put into the routed crack to seal patch. Finally, all pavement markings and striping are touched up as needed.
